Yet another incredible episode brought to you in conjunction with The Arts Council and Our Solutions CIC, a UK-based mental health charity. 'The story of my life' project is a mental health and empowerment initiative supporting a group of individuals who are sharing their unique and powerful story of trauma that has eventually led to a place of emotional release and strength. Renu Tina Kenworthy (Tina) my life started in a small village in Punjab (India) with hopes, faith, and dreams of a successful, passionate and stress-free life when I came to England. I am a loving, caring, and proud mum. I studied business information technology (BIT) as an adult student and proud to complete my degree being a mum of two. I work in health and Social and love working with adults with learning and physical disabilities as well as different kind of mental health conditions. The death of a child at any age is an experience no parent wants to have. But to me, the loss of my son who was a stillbirth was a devastating moment that the catalyst for change in my life. How things then changed following my first marriage and the pressures of a traditional cultural upbringing culminated in the events I want to talk about today. This is the story of how through hope and sadness, the butterfly of my life was born. This is the story of my life...
