Dweezil Zappa is one of the greatest guitarists alive today. The level of detail he and his band puts into their performances is proof alone that live music is far from dead.

Dweezil’s upcoming tour celebrates the 50th anniversary of the release of his father Frank Zappa’s album “Hot Rats”. Anyone who listens to this podcast regularly knows that I bring up Frank Zappa pretty much every episode, and while it’s tough to pick a favorite record, Hot Rats is definitely up there. It showcases some of Frank’s most intriguing orchestration and album production.
