In this episode, we interviewed communication workshop facilitator, circus performer, author, and creator of Talk2MorePeople, Tony Esteves. What initially started out as a 30 day challenge, became Tony’s year challenge to meet someone new every day. In this year, Tony ended up meeting over 550 new people and found his way into leading communication workshops and now has a full time coaching practice. Tony gives us his advice on how one can go about connecting with more people, two pieces being to put our phones away and listening to the conversations happening around us. We change directions and Tony shares with us what he does to get himself out of a funk: ask for help. Following, Tony shares the rituals he does throughout his day to maintain his mental health. To end the interview, we share our opinions on the effects that social media has on mental health.
