I will always try to keep things real here and things just haven’t felt…great. I don’t feel like anyone is HAPPY at the moment and it’s been pretty weird. Every which way you look…the world is a bit of a shitshow. So - am I going to project all of that rage into today’s episide? Yes I am. We’re diving into a topic that isn’t the usual sexy fun-time chat, but it IS seriously important if we want those sexy fun times. Today we’re talking about...the patriarchy. WELCOME FUCKING BACK I KNOW. We’re peeling back the layers on how these outdated, harmful attitudes are keeping everyone—yes, everyone—from living their best sexual lives. I’ll be trying my best to keep it engaging and digestible, and maybe even funny, because if I didn’t laugh, I’d cry. And because I do REALLY want to keep any male listeners tuned in, I’ll also be suggesting some real, actionable steps you can take to help dismantle the patriarchy without feeling like you’re personally under attack. Life be hard friends, and the war on women is still absolutely raging. But let’s get into it. It’s giving enlightening, enraging, and, yes, probably a little uncomfortable. But that’s growth, baby.
