We are still blaming women for their abuse and I don't like that!
I get that Da'Naiah is not a sympathetic victim, but let me hip you to something...victims aren't perfect and do not/should not have to perform to get your sympathy or empathy.
Today's episode we go into why the Da'Naiah's of the world need to be shown more grace and how LuzCelenia was personally incensed when a female preacher at her church spewed the same harmful rhetoric that keeps women like Da'Naiah in bondage by telling Black women they are solely responsible for their relationship status and undergirding toxic beliefs that our value is found in being chosen by a man to be his wife.
