In this 5th SIMM-podcast episode we hear Lukas Pairon discuss with Graça Mota from Portugal (00:53-17:50), Khamis Abu Shaaban from Gaza (17:50-26:43), Cathy Milliken from Australia (26:45-40:02), and Bart Maris from Belgium (40:05-54:14), about what motivates musicians to want to engage themselves in social and community music projects. The 5th yearly SIMM-posium is presenting research in the field of music in social and community work by scholars from all over the world.
