Ahoy there, surfers and beach lovers! Here comes your daily dose of surf zone forecast fun from the National Weather Service in Los Angeles/Oxnard. Let's dive into what the waves have in store for us today and tomorrow!
Starting off with Malibu Coast and Los Angeles County Beaches - today, we've got a moderate rip current risk, with surf heights ranging from 2 to 4 feet. So keep an eye out and ride those mixed south and west swells. And tomorrow, expect more of the same with moderate rip currents and similar surf heights.
Heading up north to Ventura County Beaches - moderate rip current risk continues today with 2 to 4 feet waves rolling in. Get ready for a mix of south and west swells. Tomorrow, the pattern repeats with moderate rip currents and consistent surf heights.
Venturing further to Santa Barbara County - the southwestern and southeastern coasts are looking good with low rip current risks today and tomorrow. Waves will be chill at 1 to 3 feet, with a pleasant west swell today. Tomorrow, enjoy a mix of south and west swells as you ride those waves.
And last but definitely not least, for San Luis Obispo County Beaches and Santa Barbara Central Coast Beaches - today, you're in for some fun with 3 to 6 feet waves and a mix of west and south swells. Tomorrow, expect bigger waves at 5 to 8 feet, so get ready to catch some good ones!
Remember, always keep an eye out for those rip currents, especially when the risk is moderate. But overall, it looks like a great weekend ahead for surfing and beach lounging. So grab your boards, wax 'em up, and hit those waves for some awesome rides!
