Mental shifts are the key to making big moves in business. The strategies and tactics are great, but they’re not going to make a difference unless you’ve put yourself into that mental space where you need to be.

If you get yourself in the right mindset, and continue to practice that, everything else falls in line almost effortlessly. It’s amazing being able to watch that unfold in your own business.

In this episode Avani talks about:

  • Shifting your mindset to become the best version of yourself.
  • James Clear’s Be-Do-Have framework.
  • How to tell yourself who you are and where you want to be in the future.
1. Daily affirmations

These are “I am…” statements that affirm who you want to be. You can journal these, say them aloud, or any other way that helps you to tell yourself what you want to be.

2. Future pacing

This is similar to affirmations, but they’re more long-form. Where would you like to see yourself in the future? What are the details? Speak life into the life you want for yourself.

3. Associate with the right people

Hang around the people who are where you’d like to be someday. Grab coffee with them. Or if you can’t do that, listen to their podcasts and read their blog posts. Be a learner.

4. Have rapid subconscious shifts

You may need to do this with a coach or someone certified, but you need to get into your subconscious mind rapidly to get to the root of your struggles and have major breakthroughs. If you need help, you can reach me at the website linked below.
