In this episode we define people pleasing tendencies and how, while they have a facade of altruism, they ultimately serve as a detriment to ourselves. We discuss different ways that people pleasing can manifest and ways in which we can take care of ourselves first which then puts us in a better position to serve others. All of this is framed around the concept of filling your own cup first so that it can overflow into others. This episode wraps up with a teaser for next week's episode around the idea of showing up as a team player in your life.
