Carroll and I met while living in Los Angeles and attending church together. When Covid-19 shut do Los Angeles and I left to visit my mom in Mississippi, Carroll and his wife Julissa left the following day to visit family in Missouri and decided to begin building a life there. Shortly thereafter, they found out they were expecting and are now living and raising that sweet babe in St. Louis. We had an amazing conversation here about the difference in being creative and creating and what that has looked like in our lives. This is just the beginning of our conversation, but it felt best to split it into multiple episodes.
