Business Artists make money in an artful way, they want to create something beautiful or cool or stylish or revolutionary. They want to be authentic and they want to add something new to the world, something which nobody has done before. They are independent and they want to contribute something to the big picture, to all the great things that have already been done. They do this by building companies, by making deals, by creating marketing strategies, offering services or releasing products. Steve Jobs was a business artist. Jimmy Iovine is a business artist.
