On the podcast this week we have Brian McRae who is currently working with Delta Waterfowl in government affairs after a 14 year career with OFAH doing the same type of work.
Brian is a wealth of knowledge when it comes to hunting, fishing and trapping and has been around all of it for a very long time.
He is often the advocate going to bat for us hunters at the provincial and federal level in regards to firearm laws, Sunday gun hunting rules and hunting oppourtunites for Canadian residents, new hunters and youth hunters.
Brian is also the founder of a charity called Wild For Hope that helps assist those with Cerebral Palsy and their families. Brian's son Jase has Cerebral Palsy and as Brian and his wife have watched their son grow, they have also watched the cost of raising a child with this disability grow as well. The charity event assists families in similar situations who are not able to afford much of the adaptive equipment designed to assist those with Cerebral Palsy.
We're lucky to have a guy like Brian in our ranks as avid hunters and we're also lucky to have him on the show this week to chat.
Enjoy!!
