Teachers premiers January 13th on TV Land, but that's just the next chapter in the story of The Katydids. It started as an improv troupe of seven ladies with basically the same name. Soon, videos were being shared across the web and gained the attention of networks. Enter Alison Brie (Community, Mad Men) and UCB Founder Ian Roberts, the executive producers of Teachers. We dug into their story and talked developing a following, how they translated their ideas to a TV show, the writing process and using social media to promote the show.
