In the second episode of the John Bell & Croyden podcast we are delighted to speak to Barbara Paldus, Founder of Codex Beauty Labs, a biotech skincare company grounded in science.

Barbara is a scientist and engineer, and prior to Codex Beauty spent two decades leading innovations, which included measuring greenhouse gases and manufacturing equipment for vaccines and cancer treatments.

Founded in 2018 by Silicon Valley, and stocked in John Bell & Croyden from 2019, Codex Beauty Labs is dedicated to supporting the microbiome, and its pioneering products have been clinically proven to deliver meaningful skincare benefits.

In our podcast, Alex and Barbarba discuss what an electrical engineer is doing developing skincare and delves into the fascinating science behind ethnobotany and plant biology.
