Nils' story is super inspiring, he developed an interest in tech and marketing from a young age, we chat all about how he founded a Marketing Agency in his early 20s that he grew to 50+ employees. Originally from Germany, Nils now lives in Pererenan in Bali, Indonesia. Nils reflects on his experience of his role as CEO as his company grew evolving into a role he didn't necessarily enjoy resulting in him becoming pretty unhappy to the point that he decided to sell his agency to travel the world. We discuss how important it is to find self awareness and understand what makes you happy so you can enjoy the process rather than living with a mentality of 'I'll be happy when...' Today Nils consults on all things Conversion Optimization for several high profile enterprise clients, is a frequent speaker at conferences and co-hosts his own podcast called The Izzi & Nils Show. He has also worked hard to design a lifestyle he loves, working only a few hours per month for clients allowing him to spend the rest of his time on passion projects and enjoying life in Bali. It's a super inspiring conversation and Nils gives an interesting insight into how he achieved a lifestyle which might seem impossible to many people through building a personal brand, finding a niche, becoming an expert and a lot of consistent self reflection.
