Being lonely is not nearly as taxing as welcoming BAD company.” - Johnnie Williams III

Are you in love right now?

No is the wrong answer, because you are or should be in love with yourself. This episode explores why parents put their children first, where soldiers put the country first, and married couples put their spouses first.

The question is posed as to whether this philosophy of loving others first pays off or creates unnecessary expectations on those we claim to love. Maybe by putting others first and loving others first -is like us working from the outside of self back inward. Too many of us entertain the wrong company for moving forward and self-improving in this life. It is suggested that we stop avoiding the reasons why we don’t like being alone and begin to challenge these thoughts and feelings so we might hold spaced and hold out for the ideal people that should occupy time and emotion in our lives.

Ask Yourself:

  1. What are some things you think about when you are by yourself?
  2. What bothers you most about spending time alone?
  3. What have you learned about entertaining bad company?
