It’s time for another fun-filled episode of jokes, games, and surprises! Curious kids can help Tim and Sam solve a soggy riddle, spin the Wheel of Numbers (and get ready to shout "Odd Number Alert!") and flap their wings to a mystery location. Plus - we’re getting all excited about the Olympics!
Wondering about Tim’s question? Here’s the answer!
Question: Why is a ‘sandwich’ called a ‘sandwich’?
Answer: ‘Sandwiches’ were named after a nobleman called The Earl of Sandwich more than two hundred years ago. The legend goes that the Earl was playing an exciting game of cards one day and didn’t want to stop for lunch, so he asked his cook to bring him some meat between two slices of bread. That way he could hold his lunch with just one hand, and keep playing cards while he ate!
