Have you ever suffered from an injury and been worried about coming back to the sport feeling mentally and emotionally weak? I was nervous for that too when I tore my labrum whitewater kayaking and needed to take a 9 month break from the sport. I was studying psychology at the time and was head deep in anxiety before the injury around kayaking (and life honestly). I was curious if there was a way I could improve that, even though I wasn't on the water. In today's episode, I share all about my injury, my recovery time, tips and tricks for recovery, and how I trained my brain so that I came back from the injury WAYYYY stronger than before!
