The sublimation process varies from screen printing in that sublimation prints are applied after the whole garment had been printed, while screen print T-shirts can be printed with large areas for graphics or text at a time through an entire production run. The sublimated ink also differs from the traditional oil-based solvent ink used by many standard printing techniques.
