In this episode, I am joined by Dr Kruttika Bhat.
We discuss the topic "culture change" or of raising children in a country different from the one you grew up in.
According to Wikipedia, culture can be defined as all the ways of life including arts, beliefs, codes of manners, dress, language, religion and institutions of a population that are passed down through generations. Culture has been called "the way of life for an entire society."
Kruttitka shares her experiences of growing up in India and raising her children in the United States.
We discuss various aspects of motherhood, including pregnancy challenges, cultural differences in upbringing, and maintaining Indian traditions.
Kruttitka also discusses her family's visits to India and her son's positive experience with the heightened senses of the Indian experience.
Finally, Kruttika reflects on the lessons learned from motherhood (like patience) and advice for one's younger self (that not to worry, it will all work out!)
