Kevin opens up about his picture-perfect suburban life, where one moment he was the dad on the soccer field with his cappuccino â, and the next, he was thrust into a whirlwindâhis son was diagnosed with cancer. The shift from âsoccer dadâ to âcancer dadâ happened in the blink of an eye, with no warning signs or preparation. đ Kevin shares the terrifying moment when his son was airlifted to the hospital due to kidney failure caused by a tumor. đ
đȘïžThrough the chaos, Kevin found a new sense of clarity, purpose, and strength. Despite the heartache, Kevin and his family rallied together, and his son bravely fought through the unimaginable. đ Kevin details the physical and emotional toll, from collapsing on the kitchen floor in exhaustion to juggling his business life during his sonâs treatment.
Out of this experience came a beautiful ideaâHug Your People. Inspired by his sonâs resistance to wheelchairs and preference for riding in wagons, Kevin and his family began donating wagons to other pediatric cancer patients. To date, theyâve donated over 400 wagons to families going through similar battles. đđ
đKevin also dives into how this messy journey changed his approach to life and business. After learning how to balance life while running a business during his sonâs treatment, he found that focusing only on what matters most led to successâtripling his revenue while working less. Now, Kevin helps others find their time and create meaningful, purpose-driven lives.
