Well in today’s episode I am speaking with Tammy Sooveere who is a nutritionist and a Nutrigenomic Practitioner, wife and mum of 3 and also serves on the board of a not for profit organisation called MyKids Australia.

What we eat effects how our genes are expressed and that we have a lot more control over our health than we think.

Why hormones are so important?

How they affect our day to day life and why it is so important to have our hormones in balance.

What are some of the key hormones and what their functions are.

Why a certain hormone is super important for diabetics to understand.

We are eating foods from animals that are given hormones and they are making a big impact on our health.

Its not all gloom and doom and we talk about some simple everyday things you can do to help balance your hormones.

How a common herb can help to stimulate your liver which can then help your hormones.

How sugar affects your hormones

How chronic stress affects your hormones, your sleep, and nutrient levels and can be a cause of so many diseases.

We share some great tips on managing your stress and I share a little bit about how I helped myself overcome symptoms of chronic stress.

This was such a fantastic and interesting topic and we want to leave everyone with the message that we all have the ability to take control of our health today. What we do now on a daily basis can have a big impact on our family’s health and future generations.
