‘Living with Ovarian Cancer Podcast’ is full of inspiring stories told by people who are living with or have a connection with Ovarian Cancer.

Each person’s story is a gift; unique and is told from the heart in their own words. I am your host, Diane Evans-Wood. Please subscribe to the Podcast and leave a review so that the show becomes more visible to listeners.

Lexi is an absolute powerhouse of energy and tirelessly raises awareness about Ovarian Cancer, particularly Low Grade Serous Ovarian Cancer in the AYA (adolescent and young adult) community. It is her calling in life to do this. We talk about Lexi’s story related to her symptoms, diagnosis, and treatment of Ovarian Cancer. We focus on the immense sadness and the implications regarding infertility which Lexi has endured and still endures since her diagnosis at the age of 27. We also talk about why research is so vital into Low Grade Serous Ovarian Cancer. The essence of this episode brings such raw, open, honest and insight into what it is like to live with Ovarian Cancer at such a young age including how humour plays a huge part in the coping. A shout-out to Lexi’s amazing Husband who is a huge support to Lexi; and also to Val, Lexi’s beautiful support dog who is a source of such joy.
