1. Acknowledge and Feel Your Emotions

  • What to do: Let yourself feel whatever emotions come up—whether it’s sadness, anger, fear, or grief. These feelings are natural and deserve to be acknowledged. Give yourself permission to experience them without judgment.
  • Why it helps: Accepting your emotions is the first step toward healing. When you allow yourself to feel, you’re not bottling up the pain, which can make things harder over time.

2. Look for Growth and Learning
