Lauri was able to catch up with her friend, writer, political commentator, experienced activist and co-founder and President of Based Politics, Hannah Cox. Our catch up conversation after several years centered around watching someone's career take off and grow, the extra layers of distraction that being a determined female in worlds like the music business and the political sphere can present. We discuss how you have to be aware of those challenges yet rise above them and how to do it without losing your core or becoming jaded. We hope our discussion can be helpful to women out there that have a passion and a drive in realms that are particularly still, by and large, man clubs. We discuss how women often hurt each other when they could be helping each other and how there is still work to be done there.
