FREE COURSE: OVERCOMING THE HURDLES

SHOW QUOTES

“You do not need a sad story to decide that you want to start to look at your relationship with alcohol.”

“It was the, you know, two or three days where I just felt subpar. I was operating at 60% capacity"

SHOW NOTES

It's easy to compare ourselves with others in all walks of life but it's very rarely helpful.
I used to compare myself to others in the low/no space and feel like a fraud, like I didn't belong.
Why? Because I didn't stop drinking as a result of addiction, I didn't hit rock bottom and then claw my way out; I'm not an alcoholic, and I never joined a program.
I just decided that alcohol wasn't the right choice for me, and that made me feel like my choice wasn't worth sharing as much as others.
But I was wrong.
In this week's solocast (new word of the week), I'm sharing my story so that you know it's perfectly ok to share yours.
