Martha Cortés, DDS is a general, cosmetic, biological, neuromuscular and laser dentist who sub-specializes in the treatment of sleep breathing disorders, and temporomandibular joint dysfunction (TMD). Her methods include non-surgical techniques to treat TMD, as well as, facial-airway-enhancement remodeling techniques designed to treat sleep apnea.
As a multi-boarded practitioner and lecturer, Dr. Cortés does not just focus on the teeth, she considers your teeth and your body as a whole, incorporating a biological edge in her approach, techniques and practice. It is with this background in combination with her knowledge of neuromuscular dentistry, and use of her training from Paracelsus and Swiss BioHealth, that she amplifies her surgical skill, removing infection and placing zirconia implants. Constantly studying new techniques while expanding current ones, Martha Cortés truly rises to challenge standards and approaches to treat her patient’s health.
Beginning with your mouth, she brings truth and light into her trademark “Your Smile, Your Health”®. Outside the office, Dr. Cortés enjoys seeing live music and art, as well as going dancing with family and friends. In addition, she loves to study; expanding her breadth of knowledge in her current fields and techniques, and find new methods and tools to better the health of her patients. In addition, she is a published author who is working on her latest book which focuses on helping people sleep well, breathe well, and live well.

In 2016, when she was introduced to the world of "Myofunctional Therapy" she immediately knew that was her calling, especially when she learned that it encapsulated many of her passions- breastfeeding, the import of early childhood development, and airway health.
