For some people like myself, the idea of personal growth exists on the other end of an uncomfortable road. If you keep your focus on growth for long enough, the experience of the uncomfortable road can start to get a lot more comfortable. If you keep at it long enough, your ability to withstand this discomfort becomes effortless. In this week's episode, I explore the relationship between growth, comfort, effort, and desire. Sometimes it seems the harder we work at something, the more focus we place on the work, and, as a result, the less focus we place on our intention. This is why growth must not be a person's single focus. If it is, the person risks growing in all the wrong directions.
