I’ve been coming to you every Saturday for the past 85 weeks to explore the possibilities💬, opportunities🙌 and challenges✋ of navigating your Me Now Years.

But have you found yourself asking questions like:
“What ARE the Me Now Years?”🤔

Or

“Am I even in my Me Now Years?”🤷‍♀️

On episode #85 of the Habit Thrive Podcast (and in a few episodes to come), we are going to dive into three aspects of our Me Now Years👍:

✅How we got to this place of being able to claim our Me Now Years:

From an ayurvedic perspective, we experience phases of Kapha, Pitta and Vata throughout our lives.

  • Our childhood and teenage years (Kapha springtime) are often spent discovering who we are and finding our place in the world, growing and branching out.👶
  • As we enter adulthood (Pitta summertime), we may find ourselves fired up with the responsibilities of career, relationships, and family.👨‍👩‍👧‍👧
  • And then in to our Midlife and beyond we transition from our Pitta time to our Vata time (fall season) as begin to focus inward on what makes us happy, content, and fulfilled.🤗

✅How we embrace our Me Now Years:

From prioritizing our physical💪 and mental🧠 health to trying new hobbies or learning that skill you have always wanted to master, there are a vast array of ways to take advantage of this time in our lives!

✅The challenges we face in this time of our lives and how to overcome them:

As we transition to this new and exciting Me Now time, there can be challenges that present themselves

  • Financial concerns💵
  • Fear of judgment for doing what we want and focusing on our needs😕
  • Balancing responsibilities with our desires⚖️

So let’s begin this month by determining what exactly constitutes our Me Now Years and we will pick it up next week!
