In this episode, I'm chatting with Rachel Posner, C-IAYT, E-RYT, a yoga therapist and mindfulness coach helping people reduce stress, build resilience and thrive. Her work is informed by the intersection of mindfulness, neuroscience and psychology and her teachings integrate best practices for the mind, body and brain.

In this episode you'll learn:

  • The ways ancestral healing and IFS parts work are similar and how they can compliment one another
  • Connecting to our inner child through parts work and somatic exploration
  • Getting started with mindfulness even if you have a history of trauma and dissociation from your body
  • The importance of self-compassion in nervous system regulation
  • How to avoid gaslighting our inner child in the reparenting process
  • The integration that can come when offer gratitude and validation to our inner protective parts

A radical mother is a woman poised in her power ready to disrupt cycles of generational trauma running through her family like wildfire. She's working to improve her life, the lives of her children, and shape the landscape of her community. If that's you - you're in the right place.
This podcast is designed to connect you with resources, inspiration, and the reminder that you are not alone as you embark on your journey of radical mothering.
I’m your host Christa Bevan and I’m a nervous system educator for cycle breaker moms as well as a certified TRE (trauma releasing exercises) provider, and a trauma-informed yoga instructor. And of course, a fellow Radical Mother. My approach to this work blends neuroscience backed tools and heart-centered intuition.
