In this episode, I'm sitting down with Lyndsay MacPherson, a coach for women and couples who specializes in helping her clients heal what is at the root of their challenges, pain and patterns so they can experience more joy, pleasure, connection, intimacy, sex and EASE in their relationships and lives. Lyndsay is a wife and mother of two young daughters and is committed to healing from her own childhood trauma as well as implementing the healing practices she shares with clients into her day to day life!

In this episode you’ll learn:

  • How Lyndsay came to know that nervous system regulation work needed to be a part of her cycle breaking journey
  • The incredible toll it takes on mothers who have low sleep needs babies - especially without the support of the village
  • I share the surprising treatment that unintentionally ended up helping my son sleep better
  • How motherhood is innately taxing on our nervous system resources, and even more so when we have a history of unresolved trauma
  • Why Lyndsay is stepping back from her business for the rest of the year so that she can embrace being rather than doing
  • Learning to discern between a trauma response in parenting and what our actual desires for our kids are
  • The value in examining our deeply ingrained belief systems from childhood and how they are affecting us as parents today

A radical mother is a woman poised in her power ready to disrupt cycles of generational trauma running through her family like wildfire. She's working to improve her life, the lives of her children, and shape the landscape of her community. If that's you - you're in the right place.
This podcast is designed to connect you with resources, inspiration, and the reminder that you are not alone as you embark on your journey of radical mothering.
I’m your host Christa Bevan and I’m a nervous system educator for cycle breaker moms as well as a certified TRE (trauma releasing exercises) provider, and a trauma-informed yoga instructor. And of course, a fellow Radical Mother. My approach to this work blends neuroscience backed tools and heart-centered intuition.
