Theories of attachment styles have been around for decades, originally being developed by John Bowlby and Mary Ainsworth in the 1950's. They were originally based on the idea that we develop attachment styles based on our early childhood experiences with our caregivers.
But what if it's not just about our early childhood? What if there are other origins for our attachment styles? In this video, I talk about the alternative factors that contribute to the development of attachment styles, which might give you the answer to why you've got an insecure attachment style even if your childhood upbringing was absolutely fine!
Listen in for a deep dive on where your attachment style could've come from, and let me know what you think by dropping me a DM on Instagram.
