[32] "Being a Teaching Artist taught me to Love Myself" _ with Black, queer and indigenous interdisciplinary artist, writer, storyteller and educator Rae De Vine
Manage episode 361066998 series 3375378
Meet Rae De Vine: They identify as Black, queer and indigenous, interdisciplinary artist, writer, storyteller and educator.
In 2013, I met Rae in Paris, as we were both auditioning for the Paris Opera Studio. Fast forward 10 years - and Rae is staff member in education of the Metropolitan Opera House in New York.
But that is not the focus of this conversation! How did Rae become this person who is "unapologetically myself" and which role did artistic expression play in their development?
Listen for yourself!
