What Is Meditation?

The practice is to quiet one's thinking and to exist in a space of pure awareness, presence, attending to each moment.

We need meditation to show us how to create space within our typically busy mind, for being present and as a practice that leads us within; to attune to the openness and quiet that exists as a deeper aspect of our being.

Meditation allows us to soften our mind, to evoke a state of inner kindness that becomes a state of being in which to live from.

Meditation teaches the practice of knowing the self.

In your practice you gain greater understanding in who you are, to hold the space for truth, knowledge of what is "right" and "best" for you in any given moment, to experience calmness and tranquility and the opportunity to live present - to experience each moment as it is before you.

All of these things teach you so much about yourself. You will experience the cumulative effect of your meditation practice. It is beautiful. It is sacred. Through Meditation you open yourself to experiencing and living awakened in your life.
