I'd love to hear from you!

In the fifth episode of Emotional Intelligence: Your Greatest Asset and Key to Success, I discuss the topics of bravery and boldness, both of which require courage and vulnerability. I explain how many, if not all of us, experience fear and that blocks us from making choices that would improve our wellbeing. There comes a time--or times--in our life when we need or want to ask ourselves: What’s happening in my life? Am I happy, satisfied, or numb? Am I tired, bored? Or am I content and finding joy in what I do and who I am? Taking stock of our lives can feel like a big risk; it is, in fact, because we don't necessarily want to "look under the hood" or open the closet door lest the skeletons come tumbling out. We may not like the answers to the questions we ask. We may regret things done and not done. But if growth and serenity and joy are to take place, we need to be bold, we need to be brave: In a word, we need to be courageous. And being courageous is being vulnerable. And we access that by calling on our Inner Sage and turning the volume down on the Judge and its accomplice saboteurs.
