Trigger warning: This episode discusses the topic of depression and suicide.
I’m thrilled to have my good friend, Jessie T, on the show. In addition to being a talented singer/songwriter herself, Jessie is also a mental health advocate, expert in the art of the dad joke, and cat mom. We discuss using our resources to take care of our mental health the same way we go to the gym to take care of our physical health, the future of female in the music industry, and being reborn at 30. Jessie shares her thoughts on perfectionism, settling on the statement that “originality is cool,” and gives us so many valuable insights into taking care of your mental health.
