Ginger Soumise is a cheesecake style neo-burlesque performer and producer of burlesque
and cabaret shows. She is currently a finalist in two of London’s hottest burlesque competitions, Infintease, and the world famous Burlesque Idol, which is the biggest competition of its kind in Europe. Ginger is a trained actress and used to be a Drama teacher before ditching the classroom for the stage.
Ginger opens up about the challenges she faced as a single parent of four children during the lockdown and how she discovered her newfound passion for burlesque. Together, Dina and Ginger explore the transformative power of burlesque and how it has allowed Ginger to step into her true self and find her purpose.
