A common traumatic bond is the relationship between a kidnapper and hostage, which brings us to the topic of Stockholm syndrome, so we ask Nithya what is Stockholm syndrome and what kind of people experience Stockholm syndrome?
The movie “Highway” is a popular movie that portrays Stockholm syndrome. We ask Nithya if she thinks it is an accurate representation of the issue and why?
Lastly, we ask how does one help themselves cope when they break off a traumatic bond?
