Dr. Joel “Gator” Warsh is a Board-Certified Pediatrician in Los Angeles, California who specializes in Parenting, Wellness and Integrative Medicine, bringing the world of integrative medicine to pediatrics. After training in Western medicine, he got frustrated with the traditional system, which led him down a more holistic approach. He founded Integrative Pediatrics and Medicine with that in mind, bringing the best of Western medicine and natural remedies together. Much of that means putting a bigger focus on early intervention and preventative health measures, rather than waiting to treat illnesses and disease after the fact. Kids’ health often gets overlooked in the wellness space, which makes what Dr. Gator is doing so refreshing.

He is also the host of the Raising Amazing podcast and the author of the children’s book “Love, Dad,” set to release in 2024.

Dr. Gator talks about...

  • What drew him to integrative medicine
  • Holistic options for common illnesses
  • The foundational aspects of children’s health
  • Making up for potential nutritional deficiencies
  • Focusing on prevention over treatment
  • How to navigate eating healthy when so much out there is made unhealthy
  • How stress is impacting kids’ health
  • Making small changes in your lifestyle
