Amidst a nationwide shortage in healthcare workers, Sarasota Memorial is utilizing its nurse residency program to help with recruitment of new nurses, retention of those nurses, and improved professional development for them. Program coordinator Leah Robinson, DNP, says that ultimately, this also results in better patient care.
