You don't have to argue to get what you want.

Arguments are poison to relationships. Typically no single argument is enough to end them. But the accumlation of several is too much for most relationships to bare.

The alternative for most people is to not say anything. They sit on their needs, and resentment brews in silence. This is also terrible for relationships.

A better solution is having healthy conflict resolution strategies.
